About Shaun Moore

Born and raised in Buffalo, New York, Shaun Moore’s commitment to criminal defense was ignited at an early age, shaped by his experiences as the son of an incarcerated parent. As a first-generation college student, Shaun attended Nazareth University, where he majored in Political Science. His time at Nazareth was marked by leadership and initiative; he founded and led several student organizations, including the university’s esports program.

During his undergraduate years, Shaun also gained valuable experience at the Empire Justice Center in Rochester, New York, where he assisted clients in applying for Social Security Disability Benefits. Shaun graduated Cum Laude from Nazareth University, reflecting his dedication to both his studies and his community.

Shaun then pursued his legal education at Syracuse University College of Law, where he excelled academically and engaged in various extracurricular activities. He served as a Student Attorney with the College’s Disability Rights Clinic and was the Social Media Director for the American Constitution Society chapter. His commitment to disability rights extended to his work at the Burton Blatt Institute, where he drafted appellate briefs for Social Security Disability applicants.
In May 2024, Shaun graduated in the top 25% of his class from Syracuse University College of Law. Since joining Nave Law Firm in May 2023, Shaun has played a key role in supporting the firm’s Managing Partner and other attorneys, further honing his skills as a passionate advocate for justice.

Having personally experienced the impact of the criminal justice system, I deeply understand the challenges our clients and their families face. This personal connection fuels my commitment to helping those who share similar experiences, and I am truly honored to be in a position to provide the support and advocacy they deserve.
