Ralph Habib has dedicated his 25-year legal career to criminal law as both a prosecutor and defense attorney. As an Assistant District Attorney, he was assigned to both the DWI and Narcotics Bureaus, handling all types of cases from violations to the highest level felonies, including A-1 felonies. Mr. Habib’s assignment to the Narcotics unit afforded him extensive exposure to criminal investigations stages before filing charges including wiretap and search warrant applications.

As a private practice lawyer, Ralph has handled high-profile cases, including but not limited to white-collar offenders, athletes, and professionals whose livelihoods depended on favorable outcomes. Additionally, while heading his own law office, he was of-counsel for a large privately held environmental company, gaining contract, business formation, and contract negotiation experience.

Before joining the DWI TEAM, Mr. Habib’s focus has been providing top-quality criminal and traffic defense to hundreds of criminal defendants in central New York. Mr. Habib also has lectured for the New York State Bar Association.

With the firm and as a Senior Attorney, Mr. Habib will be focused on criminal matters and will be part of our Trial Litigation team.
